Orbea este unul dintre cei mai vechi producători de biciclete, cu o istorie de peste 180 de ani.

A fost fondată în 1840 în țara Baștilor, având multe rezultate pe parcursul anilor: etape în Tour de France, 2 x Campion IronMan Hawaii, Medalii de Aur la Jocurile Olimpice Ciclism Atena 2004 și Beijing 2008, 2 x Campioană Mondială MTB.

Orbea se identifică cu Țara Bascilor, acolo unde ciclismul nu este doar un sport, este o cultură, un mod de viață. Orbea Rise M este gama electrică ultraușoară de mountain bike Enduro cu cadru din carbon. Bicicletele sunt echipate cu suspensii FOX de 140mm, componente Shimano, motor Shimano EP8-RS cu o baterie internă de 360 Wh cu posibilitatea montării unui range extender de 252 Wh; total 612 Wh.

Greutatea pleaca de la 15,9 kg cu echiparea M-LTD.

Rise H

Orbea Rise H este gama electrică ultraușoară de mountain bike Enduro cu cadru din aluminiu. Bicicletele sunt echipate cu suspensii FOX de 140mm, componente Shimano, motor Shimano EP8-RS cu o baterie internă de 540 Wh cu posibilitatea montării unui range extender de 252 Wh; total 792 Wh.

Greutatea pleaca de la 19 kg (echiparea H10), cu doar 1,5 kg mai grea decât varianta Rise M care are cadru din carbon.

Creating the concept with Shimano

The idea of creating our own power plant for Rise was daunting, but we believed that this would be the only way to realize our goal of a complete RS system for trail bikes.

We had been looking for the best way to achieve this for a long time, so when Shimano shared the plans for their new EP8 motor, we quickly realized that this awesome drive unit offered us the perfect platform on which to build the RS Power concept.
