The Challenger ATR 4 is a versatile, well-cushioned trail runner model that also performs well on paved ground conditions.
Light, airy, built on the basis of a cradle that adds dynamics while running. The Challenger ATR 4 is an all- round shoe ideal for paved trails and forest paths, suitable for asphalt and trail running.
A novelty is a modified and improved binding system that allows individual adaptation of the shoe to the owner, which is important during fast runs.
The midsole made of a thick layer of pressure-molded EVA foam provides great cushioning, while allowing you to run from the midfoot. In addition, the Meta-Rocker midsole geometry system , i.e. a slight difference in the cradle between the heel and toes, provides the foot with a unique support effect, thus facilitating the correct rolling of the feet while running. The outer sole is equipped with 4 mm tabs for excellent traction on various surfaces.
Compared to previous versions, this model better stabilizes the midfoot during the run and provides greater comfort in the instep. In addition, the material on the upper is reinforced, extending its durability thanks to the anti-pebble protection and external TPU heelpiece, which provides additional stability.
The Challenger ATR 4 uses a new, improved upper , which has been widened in the front part, which is very important in the case of long hours of runs when the foot swells and needs more space. The latest upper is more durable and resistant to damage.
The shoes also have specially contoured Ortholite insoles , which improve the foot ventilation and have antibacterial properties.
