The smart Tacx Flux 2 home trainer features a compact and maintenance-free direct drive system that is even more realistic and interactive. Thanks to the fast-acting electronics and the flywheel of 7.6 kg, even the smallest differences can be felt directly in your legs. With an inertia of 31.2 kg, the Flux has the heaviest actual flywheel of all Tacx trainers.
The stronger the flywheel effect, the more realistic the riding experience.
For wireless communication with smartphones, tablets and other smart devices, the Flux 2 uses ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart.
Using the ANT+ FE-C protocol, training can be done with Tacx's own apps as well as third-party apps such as Zwift and TrainerRoad.
In addition, training in autonomous standalone mode is also possible. Without an app connection, it simply simulates a flat road; the faster you go, the higher the resistance.
