The Flux S is the optimized version of the iconic Flux home trainer with accessible direct drive and offers all the Smart features at a great value. The revised internal mechanics not only improve the riding experience, but also make the power measurement more reliable and consistent, with deviations of no more than 3 %. It shares with its predecessor the claim to reduce noise levels and vibrations to a minimum. The result is one of the quietest flywheel-equipped trainers.
For wireless communication with smartphones, tablets and other smart devices, the Flux S uses ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart. Using the ANT+ FE-C protocol, training can be done with Tacx's own apps as well as third-party apps such as Zwift and TrainerRoad. In addition, training in autonomous standalone mode is also possible. Without an app connection, it simply simulates a flat road; the faster you go, the higher the resistance.
